Where are you located?

Fairley Motor Lodge is centrally located on the corner of Meeanee Quay and Tareha Street, Westshore, Napier – just 2.1 km from the airport and directly beside Westshore Beach and the Ahuriri Estuary. More information >

Are all the rooms on the ground floor?

Yes, all the units are at ground level, with parking right to the door for maximum convenience. The studios have a private courtyard and all others a tiled patio/under verandah area.

Is there wheelchair access?

Yes, some of our units have wheelchair access and showers instead of baths. Please contact us for more details.

Do all the rooms have spa baths?

All units have spa baths, except the Two Bedroom Suites which have a large shower instead. Please see our accommodation page for more information about our rooms >>

What are your Reception hours?

7:00am to 9:00pm daily.

When do I need to check out?

Check out time is 10:00am. If you need to stay later, please make arrangements with Jane or Hugh. If you intend to check out before 7:00am, then we would appreciate your settlement of the account the night before.

Is breakfast included in the room rate?

No. However, breakfast can be ordered and served to the rooms from 7:00am weekdays and 8:00am on weekends. Please complete the menu sheet (available in your unit) and leave it with Reception before 9:00pm the night before. Tick your choices and use one menu for each guest.

Are internet and fax facilities available?

Broadband internet is available in all rooms – please contact us for more information. Guests can send a fax from the Reception office and receive faxes on our dedicated line. A fax machine can also be provided for use in your room if required. Please ask the hosts for any other business requirements.

What eating options do I have when staying at Fairley?

Fairley Motor Lodge is within easy walking distance to several excellent restaurants and a short drive to an even greater selection of Hawke's Bay's top eateries. Many of these operate a 'charge back' service. In addition, guests can order takeaway or have high-class meals delivered to their suite by nearby Estuary Restaurant.

I'm new to this region and I'm not sure what to do and see

No problem! Jane & Hugh will be happy to guide and advise you on sightseeing and activities. Not only can they provide a comprehensive collection of tourists brochures, but their many years living in Hawke's Bay have given them extensive local knowledge and insight into the area – so they will know just how to make your visit a truly memorable one." I have important business meetings – will I be able to work and rest in peace and quiet?

Rest assured – all of our units have concrete lining to ensure quiet and privacy, giving you undisturbed time to work and sleep.

I need a place to hold a conference or seminar – can you help?

Certainly! Fairley Motor Lodge boasts one of Napier's leading conference and business seminar facilities – ideal for any kind of work function, trade display or job interviews. We offer ample, comfortable seating, all equipment needs, 7 layout choices and a full catering service, as well as a large private courtyard and break-out space for BBQs or product displays. Can I arrange to have a small meeting at your motel?
